"This funding will provide us with the time and space to re-examine the ways we work with our groups and explore new creative ways to make our projects more accessible and inclusive. Together, we will examine how we organise our project delivery and develop effective ways to integrate the new capabilities of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and technology."

About the partners

Media Education
Media Education works across Scotland and the UK. Our mission is to work closely in co-production with people furthest from power - with the particular emphasis of championing people experiencing disadvantage, discrimination or poverty - in order to advocate for the changes they want to see for themselves and others.

Using creative facilitation and trauma-informed approaches we build effective teams and a nurturing space in which to develop trust and find common purpose. Working together we use expressive arts, media training, field work, film production and mixed method research to gather evidence and share knowledge with communities and other stakeholders through meetings, presentations, screenings and events.

We design our engagement to be as rewarding as possible for participants so, wherever possible, we offer payment for participation, flexible engagement built around individual needs, food, travel costs and a range of qualifications in media and active citizenship. www.mediaeducation.co.uk

We focus on inclusion, participation, and intercultural exchange, engaging with individuals from diverse and low-income backgrounds, including those with special learning needs.
