“Peshkar Productions is proud to partner with Miteinander leben e.V. on this vital project. With over 30 years of experience using digital and participatory arts to amplify the voices of young people from marginalised communities in England's North West, we bring proven expertise in youth-led co-creation, digital storytelling, and cross-border cultural collaboration - having delivered European cultural programmes across eight countries. Together, our organisations share a deep commitment to using creativity as a tool for democratic participation, anti-racist practice, and community resilience. This partnership connects two communities with a shared purpose: ensuring young people's voices are heard, valued, and visible.” Peshkar Productions

“Together with Peshkar Productions, we aim to create new pathways for young people in rural areas to articulate their experiences of racism and exclusion through diverse artistic practices. By opening inclusive creative spaces, the project enables young participants to develop confidence, express their perspectives, and engage in dialogue beyond their local contexts. Through shared artistic processes, their voices will be amplified and made visible to wider audiences, contributing to greater understanding, empathy, and democratic participation across communities.” Miteinander leben e.V.

About the partners

Peshkar Productions
Peshkar Productions is a pioneering intercultural arts organisation based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Our mission is to use creativity as a catalyst for social change, empowering young people—especially those from under-represented and disadvantaged backgrounds—to explore identity, voice, and belonging through the arts. We combine digital innovation, participatory performance, and social storytelling to nurture confidence, empathy, and agency among young participants. Through collaborations across disciplines and borders, Peshkar creates platforms where diverse voices can connect, challenge inequality, and reimagine community life. Our work reaches schools, youth settings, and community venues across the North West, with an expanding international network that demonstrates how inclusive creative practice can bridge cultures and inspire civic participation. www.peshkar.co.uk

Miteinander leben e.V. promotes participation, diversity, and democratic values through cultural dialogue, youth engagement, and creative civic action. Founded in 1992 in Mölln following racially motivated arson attacks that claimed three lives, the organisation has worked for over three decades to foster peaceful coexistence among people of all backgrounds, faiths, and orientations.

Its mission is to counter right-wing extremism and discrimination by empowering young people in particular to engage with human rights and democratic participation. Through education, artistic practice, and encounter-based projects, Miteinander leben e.V. raises awareness of racism and antisemitism while promoting tolerance, empathy, and cultural diversity.

The organisation delivers long-standing youth programmes such as 'GESTÄRKT' and 'SHARE MY MUSIC', alongside recurring theatre, education and dialogue projects that use creative expression as a tool for remembrance, understanding and community resilience.
